Contract

You are hiring Danielle Giroux (Giroux Golbazi Holdings Inc.) to design and develop solutions for a Squarespace website for the estimated total price of $15,360.

As our customer, you have the power and ability to enter into this contract on behalf of your company or organization. You agree to provide us with everything that we need to complete the project including text, images and other information as and when we need it, and in the format that we ask for. You agree to review our work, provide feedback and sign-off approval in a timely manner too.

The first installment of $7,680 will be due upon starting the project on September 18, and the remaining $7,680 will be due on October 19 when the site will be completed. Upon completion, the existing domain will need to be transferred to the new host. You agree to supply login details to the domain for this transfer, or provide assistance with pointing to the new host.

Along the way we will endeavour to meet all the deadlines set but we can’t be responsible for a missed launch date or a deadline if you have been late in supplying materials or have not approved or signed off our work on-time at any stage. On top of this we will also maintain the confidentiality of any information that you give us.

We will create the design, layout and functionality of your web site. This contract includes one design phase, any additional feedback will be billed at $80/hour. You agree to pay us in full for all of the work that we have produced leading up to October 19 and you may continue to commission us to make further design revisions at the hourly rate set out in our original estimate.

Squarespace supports the three most recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari and the most recent version of Internet Explorer for editing your site. Squarespace also supports the three most recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer for viewing your site.

We are not responsible for the text on the website, we will provide placeholder copy to drive the design layout and will rely on communication with the copywriter.

You will purchase photographs that we source for the website. We have included 2 hours of stock photography searching in the quote.

The hours in the quote provided are based on the number of hours we estimate to accomplish everything you have specified that you want to achieve. If you would like to add additional requests, we will provide an updated quote and a signed contract.
